Tradewind Recruitment are delighted to be working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Doncaster to recruit a Year 3 Primary Teacher for a maternity cover position starting at the end of March 2026 and running through to July 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and committed Key Stage 2 teacher to take on a rewarding role with full class responsibility within a well-established team.

The Role:

  • Teaching a Year 3 class

  • Full responsibility for planning, preparation, marking and assessment

  • Delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum

  • Contributing to pupils' academic progress and wellbeing

  • Working collaboratively within the wider school framework and staff team

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold QTS (or equivalent UK teaching qualification)

  • Have experience teaching in KS2, ideally Year 3

  • Demonstrate strong behaviour management and classroom organisation

  • Be confident with assessment, tracking and reporting progress

  • Be reliable, enthusiastic and committed for the duration of the maternity cover
