Are you a qualified Science Teacher looking for a new opportunity in Bury?
Tradewind Recruitment is working with a small, friendly secondary academy in Bury to recruit a Science Teacher for a full-time supply role starting as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive school with a strong focus on pupil progress and practical science learning.
The Role
- Teacher of Science (GCSE)
- Full-time, Monday to Friday
- Teaching Science to pupils aged 11-16
- Delivering engaging and well-structured lessons, including practical science
- Adapting teaching to meet the needs of different learners
- Promoting positive behaviour and high expectations in the classroom
The school welcomes applications from Early Career Teachers, experienced QTS teachers, and QTLS-qualified teachers with secondary experience.

To be successful, you will need to:
- Hold QTS, QTLS, or ECT status
- Have experience teaching Science at secondary level
- Hold (or be willing to apply for) an Enhanced DBS
- Provide a full CV with explained employment gaps
- Have the legal right to work full-time in the UK
