Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 13:00 - 23:00
Sleep-in shifts required on a rota basis
SEN Schools in Ashford are seeking a Residential Support Worker to join their residential provision supporting young people with additional needs. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for candidates looking for long-term, stable employment in a supportive and rewarding environment.
The Role:
You will support young people in a residential care setting, ensuring their cultural, communication, and personal needs are met in line with individual care plans. The role requires commitment, resilience, and a genuine passion for working with children and young people with SEN.
Essential Requirements:
Experience working in a residential or care home setting
Ability to meet the cultural, communication, and personal needs of young people
Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential due to shift times and location)
Commitment to a permanent position (job share not available)
Willingness to complete sleep-in shifts on a rota basis
Who We're Looking For:
A caring, patient, and flexible approach with a genuine passion for inclusive education
Comfortable providing personal care, including toileting and feeding
Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude
Willingness to undergo all necessary background checks, including an Enhanced DBS (child workforce ONLY) on the update service - support provided. A new DBS costs £62 and we will pay you back the £62 once you have completed 20 days of work for us
