You will play an active role in curriculum development and enrichment activities, ensuring students gain both technical competence and confidence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging DT lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Plan practical schemes of work that meet curriculum requirements
  • Promote safe working practices in specialist environments
  • Track progress and adapt teaching to support all learners
  • Contribute to departmental planning and whole-school initiatives

What We're Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (or equivalent experience)
  • Ability to teach at least one DT specialism confidently
  • Strong classroom management and organisation skills
  • Commitment to inclusive education and student wellbeing
