Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to work on a supply basis across a trust of secondary schools in the Sheffield area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to gain classroom experience, enjoy flexible working, or support schools by maintaining high standards of learning in the absence of teaching staff.

The Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of the class teacher

• Deliver pre-set lesson plans and ensure students remain on task

• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

• Provide feedback to teaching staff at the end of the day

• Work across a range of schools within a supportive trust environment

What We're Looking For:

• Experience working with young people (education, coaching, youth work, etc.)

• Strong classroom management and communication skills

• Confidence leading a classroom independently

• A flexible and proactive approach to work

• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
