KS3 Teacher - Short-Term Assignment (Immediate Start)
We are working on behalf of a specialist secondary school in Hull to recruit a KS3 Teacher for a short-term placement starting in the coming weeks and running until Easter (approximately 5-7 weeks).
This role offers a rewarding opportunity to work in a supportive and well-structured environment, teaching a small Key Stage 3 class. The school is committed to providing a calm, inclusive, and nurturing setting where pupils are supported to re-engage with learning, build confidence, and achieve positive outcomes both academically and socially.
The Role:
Teaching a small KS3 class with a strong focus on individualised learning
Planning and delivering engaging, structured lessons suited to pupils' needs
Supporting pupils' academic progress, behaviour, and emotional development
Working closely with teaching assistants and support staff
Maintaining clear routines and a positive classroom environment

A qualified teacher or experienced education practitioner
Confident working with KS3 pupils, ideally in smaller or specialist settings
Patient, calm, and resilient, with a relationship-led approach
Able to adapt teaching to meet a range of needs
Available for an immediate or near-immediate start
