Design Technology Teacher (Product Design Focus)

Full-time | April - July (Summer Term) 2026

A well-established secondary school in the Bolton area of Greater Manchester is seeking a Design Technology Teacher with strong Product Design experience to join their department from April until the end of the academic year.

This is a full-time role within a supportive and well-resourced DT department, ideal for:

• a DT supply teacher whose current placement ends at Easter, or
• a permanent DT teacher looking to move onto supply for the summer term.

The role:

• Teaching DT with a focus on Product Design
• Delivering engaging, practical, and theory-based lessons
• Working with an established curriculum and experienced department
• Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, progress, and safety in workshops

The school is looking for someone who:

• Has experience teaching Product Design at KS3 and/or KS4
• Is confident in a workshop environment
• Can commit full time from April to July
• Is adaptable, reliable, and keen to make an impact for the summer term
