Sanza are working in partnership with a Hospital School in Bromley which is a hospital for mental health needs for children and young people aged 11 - 16 years who are inpatients and day patients. All students have mental health needs.
Job Role: Teacher -Secondary - KS3 - KS4
Salary: MPS2-UPS
Contract: 5 days per week
Location: Beckenham, Bromley
Start Date: Feb 2026 or July 2026
Details of the role:
- Hospital School are looking for a teacher who is comfortable teaching Secondary in either Maths (must have recent teaching experience teaching Maths)
- The role is based in a hospital school, where you will be teaching 1:1 on the wards or in the main classroom depending on numbers for the day
- Liaise with hospital ward staff to ensure the wellbeing of students.
- Ofsted Outstanding Hospital School
- Pupils aged 11 - 16 who are patients of hospital
Key Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Previous UK experience in a secondary setting - mainstream or SEN
- Can work well in a team and show initiative
- Not required to have worked with mental health needs but SEN experience would be ideal but not essential. Subject experience is more important.
- An upbeat personality with a positive attitude!
