Drama & Citizenship Teacher - Specialist School (West Lancashire)
We are working with a specialist school in West Lancashire to recruit a passionate and dedicated Drama and Citizenship Teacher.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive setting that caters for pupils with additional needs, where creativity, communication and personal development are at the heart of learning.
The role:
Deliver engaging and differentiated Drama and Citizenship lessons
Support pupils' social, emotional and personal development through creative learning
Create a safe, inclusive and inspiring classroom environment
Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists and senior leaders
Adapt teaching approaches to meet a range of learning needs
The ideal candidate will:
Hold QTS/QTLS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Have experience teaching Drama and/or Citizenship (mainstream or specialist settings considered)
Be confident working with pupils with SEND, SEMH or additional needs (or keen to develop this experience)
Be creative, patient and resilient, with a strong commitment to pupil wellbeing
Have excellent communication and classroom management skills
