We are currently working with a welcoming and creative secondary school in Ealing who are seeking a practical and organised Art Technician to support their Art & Design department.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for the arts who enjoys working in a school environment and supporting both staff and students.

The Role

As an Art Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the Art department by:

  • Preparing materials, equipment, and resources for lessons

  • Supporting teachers during practical sessions when required

  • Maintaining and organising art supplies, stock levels, and storage areas

  • Assisting with displays of student artwork around the school

  • Ensuring health & safety procedures are followed within the department

  • Supporting students with the safe use of tools and materials

The Ideal Candidate

  • Has experience working in an Art department or similar creative environment (school-based preferred)

  • Is organised, reliable, and proactive

  • Has a good understanding of art materials, processes, and health & safety

  • Enjoys working with young people and supporting creative learning

  • Holds (or is willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS
