PE Cover Supervisor

A large secondary school based in Ealing are looking for a PE Cover Supervisor.
School are looking for someone to start on a long-term basis, with opportunities for ongoing work.
This position is a temporary cover role, full time although the school are open to part-time applicants. Working hours are from 8:30am to 3:30pm.

Pay rate is £100-£150 per day, depending on qualifications and experience.

PE Cover Supervisor - London

* Supervise PE lessons during the short-term absence of teaching staff, ensuring students remain engaged in physical activities and follow lesson plans.
* Manage student behaviour effectively in both indoor and outdoor PE settings, maintaining a safe and structured environment.
* Support students during activities by offering guidance and encouragement, without planning or delivering new content.
* Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times, including risk assessments and equipment checks.
* Communicate clearly with PE staff and senior leaders regarding lesson outcomes and any issues.

Person Specification:

* Experience working with young people in a school or sports setting
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
* Relevant sports, coaching, or PE qualifications (desirable)
* Confident, reliable, and adaptable
* Positive, energetic, and approachable
