Teaching Assistant - Chesham, Buckinghamshire

Teaching Assistant roles available across mainstream secondary and SEN settings.

Experience with children and young people required.

Tradewind Education is recruiting for a range of Teaching Assistant positions in schools across Chesham & Buckinghamshire. This opportunity includes placements in both mainstream secondary schools and specialist SEN provisions.

The Role:

  • Supportive staff teams and structured training
  • Opportunities across a range of year groups and needs
  • Clear behaviour policies and safeguarding procedures
  • Potential routes into teaching or long-term roles

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students in class to access learning
  • Provide small-group or one-to-one intervention
  • Assist with classroom preparation and resources
  • Encourage positive behaviour and engagement
  • Support students with additional needs where required

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people (essential)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A patient, proactive attitude
  • Experience supporting SEN (preferred but not essential)
