About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and committed Qualified Teacher (QTS essential) to deliver Maths and English booster sessions to pupils in Ilkeston. This role is ideal for a teacher who can build confidence, close learning gaps, and deliver engaging, personalised intervention sessions.

You will work with learners who require targeted support to improve their core skills and achieve age-related expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality Maths and English booster sessions
• Plan personalised learning tailored to each pupil's academic level
• Assess progress and adapt teaching accordingly
• Build positive, supportive relationships with learners
• Provide clear feedback to coordinators/parents where required

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
• Strong subject knowledge in Maths and English (Primary or Secondary)
• Experience delivering booster, intervention, or catch‑up sessions
• Ability to engage reluctant learners and build confidence
• Strong communication, organisation, and behavioural management skills
