Geography Teacher - Bolton
Start: After April Half Term
Duration: Approximately 2-3 months
Contract: Full-time
A welcoming and community-focused secondary school in Bolton is seeking a Geography Teacher to step into a short-term cover role after April half term.
The Humanities department prides itself on making learning relevant - linking global issues to student's everyday lives and encouraging debate and discussion. The school would like someone who can confidently deliver GCSE Geography and keep momentum strong during the final term.
This is a great opportunity for a teacher who enjoys building rapport quickly and making an immediate impact.
The role will involve:
- Teaching Geography across KS3 and KS4
- Following established schemes of work
- Preparing Year 11 students for final assessments
- Creating an inclusive classroom environment
The ideal candidate:
- Holds QTS (or equivalent)
- Has recent secondary Geography teaching experience
- Is organised, adaptable and proactive
