Part-Time SEND Teaching Assistant - SK8 Area
Primary School | Part-Time | Long-Term Opportunity

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in the SK8 area.

This is a part-time role working on a 1:1 basis supporting a child with SEND, alongside an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant. The school is looking for a compassionate, knowledgeable, and proactive individual who can provide tailored support to help the child thrive both academically and socially.

The Role:

  • Part-time position in a supportive Primary School

  • Working 1:1 with a pupil with additional needs

  • Supporting learning, engagement, and emotional development

  • Collaborating closely with the class teacher and SEND team

  • Implementing personalised strategies and interventions

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience supporting children with SEND

  • A minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification

  • Strong behaviour management skills

  • A patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach

  • The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
