Graduate Teaching Assistant - Start in March, May - July or September!
Location: Secondary Schools across Hertford, Welwyn Garden City and Hatfield
Contract: Full-Time with Competitive Pay offered via PAYE

We have a number of full time roles (term time 8:30-3:30) starting from ASAP and from September at a range of schools. Many of which offer a variety of routes into teacher training as well as permanent contacts.

This is a brilliant opportunity to develop your confidence, build essential skills, and take the first step toward a career in education. Whether you're seeking daily supply work or a long-term placement, we'll match you with local schools that suit your goals.

What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting pupils across years 7 - 11, supporting teachers by leading small groups and potentially running intervention lessons.

  • Working with students 1:1 or in small groups to boost progress

  • For those with a passion for certain subjects, SEN or pastoral needs we can give you the access to schools who can nurture your interest and highlight your career options.

  • Developing valuable skills and experience for future teacher training

Who are we looking for?

  • A degree (2:2 or above preferred, any subject)

  • Youth work or tuition experience is preferred but not essential

  • We can help by providing a valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (we'll also reimburse you the cost and guide you through options with the National update service to maximise your DBS potential)

  • Strong communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to create lasting relationships

  • Passion, reliability, and a genuine interest in education
