Psychology Teaching Assistant - Full Time (5 Days per Week)

Are you a passionate Psychology graduate or experienced Teaching Assistant looking to take the next step in your education career? We are delighted to be recruiting a full-time Psychology Teaching Assistant to work across welcoming and well-regarded secondary schools in Merton.

The Role:

  • Supporting students across KS3 and KS4, both in and out of the classroom

  • Working closely with Psychology departments and pastoral teams

  • Providing targeted academic and emotional support to students who need it most

  • Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

  • Gaining hands-on experience ideal for those considering careers in teaching, psychology, or mental health

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational support role

  • Strong knowledge and interest in Psychology

  • A degree in Psychology or a related subject (preferred)

  • Confident, patient, and empathetic approach when working with young people

  • Committed to working full-time, Monday to Friday
