Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking enthusiastic and flexible Secondary Supply Teachers to work across a well-established and supportive multi-academy trust of schools in the Sheffield area.

This is an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers looking for flexible work, varied classroom experience, or pathways into long-term and permanent roles within a respected trust.

The Role

As a Secondary Supply Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential KS5 opportunities depending on your subject specialism).

  • Follow pre-set lesson plans and schemes of work where provided.

  • Maintain strong classroom and behaviour management in line with school policies.

  • Adapt confidently to different school environments across the trust.

  • Support pupils in achieving positive academic outcomes.

Both day-to-day and longer-term assignments are available.

About You

We are looking for teachers who:

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • Have recent experience teaching within UK secondary schools.

  • Are confident teaching their specialist subject or providing general cover.

  • Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills.

  • Are reliable, professional, and committed to high standards of teaching and learning.

Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply.
