Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting dedicated and adaptable Secondary Supply Teachers to work across a welcoming and ambitious multi-academy trust of schools in the Rotherham area.

This opportunity is ideal for qualified teachers seeking flexible working options, varied classroom experiences, or the chance to progress into long-term and permanent roles within a supportive trust.

The Role

As a Secondary Supply Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential opportunities at KS5 depending on your subject specialism).

  • Follow lesson plans and schemes of work provided by the school.

  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning.

  • Adapt confidently to different secondary school settings across the trust.

  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

We offer both day-to-day supply and longer-term placements.

About You

We are looking for teachers who:

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • Have recent experience teaching in UK secondary schools.

  • Are confident delivering lessons within their specialist subject or across the curriculum as general cover.

  • Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

  • Are professional, reliable, and committed to high standards of education.

Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply.
