About the Role
This Teaching Assistant role is ideal for a graduate seeking hands-on experience in a secondary school environment. You will work closely with teachers to deliver classroom support, targeted academic interventions and structured SEN assistance across KS3 and KS4.
Responsibilities
- Provide classroom support across core subjects
- Deliver small group intervention sessions in English and Maths
- Support students with SEN including ASD and ADHD
- Assist with lesson preparation and resource organisation
- Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
- Promote positive behaviour and engagement
Requirements
- A degree in any subject
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine interest in education and youth development
- Ability to build rapport with secondary-aged students
- Experience working with young people (desirable)
