About the Role

This Teaching Assistant role is ideal for a graduate seeking hands-on experience in a secondary school environment. You will work closely with teachers to deliver classroom support, targeted academic interventions and structured SEN assistance across KS3 and KS4.

Responsibilities

  • Provide classroom support across core subjects
  • Deliver small group intervention sessions in English and Maths
  • Support students with SEN including ASD and ADHD
  • Assist with lesson preparation and resource organisation
  • Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
  • Promote positive behaviour and engagement

Requirements

  • A degree in any subject
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A genuine interest in education and youth development
  • Ability to build rapport with secondary-aged students
  • Experience working with young people (desirable)
