About the Role
This Teaching Assistant position will involve supporting students across English, Maths and Science, helping to raise attainment and close learning gaps. You will provide structured academic support, exam preparation assistance and targeted small group intervention.
Responsibilities
- Support high-achieving and underperforming students
- Deliver revision and booster sessions
- Assist with lesson delivery and differentiation
- Track student progress and attainment data
- Reinforce positive learning behaviours
- Provide academic mentoring
Requirements
- Strong academic background
- Confident supporting secondary students
- Interest in teacher training or education careers
- Excellent organisational skills
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
