Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant for a supportive primary school in Bolton.

This role involves supporting pupils who may experience behavioural or emotional challenges in the classroom. The aim is to help pupils stay engaged with their learning while promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.

The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff and the school's pastoral team to implement behaviour strategies and provide consistent support to pupils who may require additional guidance.

This position would suit someone who has experience working with children or young people in education, youth work, sports coaching, or similar settings.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting pupils who require behavioural support

  • Encouraging positive engagement in classroom activities

  • Helping pupils manage emotions and behaviour

  • Assisting teachers in maintaining a positive learning environment
