Are you an experienced SEN Teacher looking for a rewarding part-time opportunity?

A supportive Primary School in the NG12 postcode area is seeking a dedicated and skilled SEN Teacher to join their team on a 0.8 contract, starting as soon as possible.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference, working closely with pupils who require additional support. The role will involve delivering tailored teaching and interventions to meet a range of special educational needs, with a particular focus on communication and interaction. Proven experience supporting pupils with communication and interaction needs is essential for this position.

The Role:

  • SEN Teacher

  • 0.8 contract (4 days per week)

  • Based at a Primary School in NG12

  • Start ASAP

  • Planning, delivering and assessing personalised learning programmes

  • Working collaboratively with the SENCO, support staff and external agencies

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Strong experience within an SEN setting or supporting pupils with additional needs

  • Essential experience supporting communication and interaction needs (e.g. speech and language difficulties, ASC)

  • A patient, nurturing and adaptable approach

  • Strong behaviour management and differentiation skills

  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
