Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant - Clacton

We are looking for a caring and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs in a primary school in Clacton. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about helping children thrive and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN.

  • Assist in implementing individual education plans (IEPs).

  • Support classroom management and encourage positive behaviour.

  • Work closely with teachers and support staff to meet pupils' needs.

  • Help create an inclusive, safe, and stimulating learning environment.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience supporting children with SEN (desirable but not essential).

  • Patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Commitment to helping all pupils reach their potential.
