Year 2 Teacher - Full Time - April Start

Location: Wisbech, Cambridgeshire
Salary: £150-£180 per day (depending on qualifications and experience) - Weekly PAYE

An exciting new opportunity has become available at a well-established primary school in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire for a Year 2 Teacher. The school is rated Good by Ofsted and prides itself on inspiring children to develop a love of learning. The school is committed to supporting a variety of learning styles to ensure every pupil can reach their full potential.

This is a long-term position starting after the Easter break and running until July. The successful candidate will be expected to take on full teaching responsibilities, including planning, marking, assessment, and attending staff meetings. Pay will be equivalent to a permanent member of staff.

The school benefits from a supportive and hands-on Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and offers a welcoming environment for staff. They are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic, and hardworking teacher who can help inspire pupils and build strong educational foundations for the next generation.

This role is open to both Qualified Teachers (QTS) and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to gain valuable experience.

Successful Candidates Will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT)
• Have experience working in Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2
• Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management
• Be confident with planning, assessment, and tracking pupil progress
• Have experience using SIMS (desirable)
• Be passionate about education and a strong team player
