About the Role
The successful candidate will work closely with the Maths department to support students across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will assist in lessons, deliver targeted interventions, and support students who need additional help in developing their mathematical understanding.
Key Responsibilities
Support teaching and learning within maths lessons
Work with small groups and individual students to develop numeracy and problem-solving skills
Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities
Support students in building confidence with mathematical concepts
Help create an engaging and supportive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will
Have a strong background in Mathematics or a related subject
Be passionate about supporting student progress in maths
Have experience working with young people (desirable)
Demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills
Be proactive, patient, and enthusiastic about supporting learning
