Primary Teacher (Supply) - Chesterfield Area

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Primary Teachers to work on a supply basis across a trusted network of primary schools in the Chesterfield area. About the Role

As a Supply Primary Teacher, you will deliver engaging and inclusive lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2, depending on your experience and preferences. You will be supporting a group of schools within the same trust, helping maintain continuity of learning when staff are absent.

Assignments may vary from day-to-day cover to longer-term placements, offering both flexibility and the potential for consistent work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality teaching in line with the National Curriculum

  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment

  • Follow school policies and maintain strong classroom management

  • Adapt quickly to different classroom settings

  • Work collaboratively with support staff and school leadership teams

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK

  • Experience teaching within a UK Primary School setting

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

  • Flexibility and adaptability to work across different schools

  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
