Primary Teacher (Supply) - Worksop Area

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Primary Teachers to work on a supply basis across a network of welcoming primary schools in the Worksop area. This is a fantastic opportunity for qualified teachers who are looking for flexible work, the chance to gain experience in a variety of school settings, and the opportunity to build strong relationships with local schools.

About the Role

As a Supply Primary Teacher, you will deliver engaging and inclusive lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2, depending on your experience and availability. You will be supporting a range of primary schools across Worksop and the surrounding areas, ensuring continuity of learning when staff are absent.

Assignments may vary from day-to-day cover to longer-term placements, providing flexibility alongside the potential for regular work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum

  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment

  • Follow school policies and behaviour expectations

  • Adapt quickly to different classroom environments and routines

  • Work effectively with teaching assistants and school staff

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK

  • Experience teaching in a UK Primary School

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Flexibility and confidence working in different school settings

  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
