Tradewind Recruitment is currently partnering with a respected secondary school in Milton Keynes that is seeking to appoint a motivated Maths Teacher to join their team from April or September 2026. This is a full-time role offered on a long-term supply basis, with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.
The Role:
* Teach engaging and well-structured Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 teaching may be available depending on experience)
* Support students in building strong numerical skills, reasoning, and exam confidence
* Plan lessons that challenge and support learners of varying abilities
* Assess progress regularly and provide feedback to help students improve
* Work collaboratively with colleagues in a supportive Maths department
* Contribute to wider school initiatives such as intervention programmes or enrichment opportunities
About You:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
* Secure subject knowledge and experience teaching GCSE Maths
* A confident classroom practitioner with strong behaviour management
* A positive and engaging approach that motivates students to succeed
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
