About the Role

As a Level 2 Nursery Assistant, you will play a key part in supporting children aged 0-5 in their early learning and development. You will work alongside an experienced Early Years team to create a nurturing, stimulating and safe environment where every child can thrive.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting children's learning through play, exploration and structured activities
• Assisting with daily routines including snack time, toileting and transitions
• Helping to create engaging, age‑appropriate learning environments
• Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
• Ensuring all safeguarding, health & safety and EYFS standards are followed
• Contributing to observations and supporting children's individual development plans

What We're Looking For

• Level 2 Early Years qualification (or equivalent) - essential
• Experience working with children within a nursery or early years setting
• A warm, patient and enthusiastic attitude
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A commitment to supporting children's early development
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
