About the Role
As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a key part in supporting children aged 0-5 in their early learning and development. You will work alongside an experienced Early Years team to create a nurturing, stimulating and safe environment where every child can thrive.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting children's learning through play, exploration and structured activities
- Assisting with daily routines including snack time, toileting and transitions
- Helping to create engaging, age‑appropriate learning environments
- Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
- Ensuring all safeguarding, health & safety and EYFS standards are followed
- Contributing to observations and supporting children's individual development plans
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with children within a nursery or early years setting
- A warm, patient and enthusiastic attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to supporting children's early development
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
