The Opportunity
Teach English Language and Literature across KS3, KS4, and KS5
Work within secondary schools and colleges across Northumberland
Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons aligned with the curriculum
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons
Assess and monitor student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations where applicable
What We're Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching English in a UK secondary school or college
Strong subject knowledge across English Language and Literature
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
