MFL Teacher

Tradewind Recruitment are looking for a part time (2 days per week) MFL Teacher to start work at an excellent school in the East Riding Of Yorkshire. This is a temporary role to start September 2026, and will last until at least Christmas 2026 (the full term). This may be extended in the future. Full planning and marking will be expected for this role, and this role will be scaled to the main teaching pay scale (capped at M6). Currently that is between £32,916 and £45350 per annum, or scaled to £168.80 to £232.56 per day. This may increase by the time the booking commences if there is an update to teaching pay.

The School is situated a very short drive away from Hull, and is also easily accessible via public transport. It has a fantastic reputation in the local area, and is part of a small local academy trust, meaning work in this school lead to further opportunities within Trust Schools which are in the local area.

The school are looking for a candidate that can teach Spanish to Key Stage 3 and 4 students, and ideally have the ability to teach French to Key Stage 3 students. There is already planning in place, and lessons will just need adapting to the needs of the students. With this being a role for a full term, the school would be interested in hearing applications from ECTs, and may have capacity to complete a term (pro rata) of ECT in this bookings.

Tradewind will also support your development during your placement and beyond through our fantastic CPD via The National College. You will be put onto all of the same CPD as permanent staff members, and encouraged to grow.

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:

  • Has experience teaching MFL to Key Stage 3 students
  • Has a relevant qualification in MFL/ability to speak the language
  • Have experience working within schools in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • CV must cover the full CV History
  • Legal right to work in the UK
