1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant - Bury (BL9)

Location: Bury, Greater Manchester
Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

About the Role
Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting for a compassionate 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with additional learning needs in a welcoming primary school in Bury (BL9). This full-time role provides the opportunity to work closely with a pupil and help them succeed both academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with SEND.
* Assist in implementing EHCP strategies.
* Encourage independence and positive learning behaviours.
* Support the pupil during classroom activities and transitions.
* Work collaboratively with teachers and SEN staff to monitor progress.

Ideal Candidate
* Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or degree educated).
* Experience supporting pupils with SEND is desirable.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Patient and nurturing approach.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
