Year 5 Teacher

This is a full-time position starting in May 2026 and running through to January 2027, covering a temporary vacancy within a well-resourced Lower Key Stage 2 department.

The Role

As a Year 4 Teacher in a large 2-form entry school, you won't be working in isolation. You will benefit from a collaborative planning partner, sharing ideas and resources to ensure the best outcomes for your pupils.

Duration: May 2026 - January 2027.

Pay: Competitive rates based on experience.

Location: Easily accessible Preston location with excellent transport links and on-site parking.

What We Are Looking For

The school is seeking a professional who is passionate about KS2 primary years and can bring the curriculum to life.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.

Proven experience or a strong placement record in Key Stage 2.

A valid DBS on the Update Service is required (or the willingness to apply for a new one).

CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible

Legal right to work in the UK
