About the role:
Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a reliable and responsible Minibus Driver to work with schools in the Northampton area. This role involves transporting students safely to and from school, as well as to educational trips, sports fixtures, and other school activities.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for flexible work during school hours, or for individuals with previous driving experience who enjoy working in an educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely transport students and staff to and from school and off-site activities
Carry out daily vehicle safety checks
Ensure all passengers follow safety procedures
Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the minibus
Follow all road safety and safeguarding regulations
Report any vehicle issues or incidents promptly
Requirements:
Valid UK driving licence with D1 entitlement (or willingness to obtain)
Previous minibus or professional driving experience preferred
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through Tradewind)
Good communication skills
Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
Experience working with children or schools is desirable but not essential
