Teacher of Humanities (UK Curriculum) - Full Time
Location: South Liverpool Secondary School
Start Date: After Easter 2026
Salary: Pay to Scale (MPS/UPS)


Tradewind Recruitment Liverpool are currently seeking a committed and versatile Humanities Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in South Liverpool. This is a full-time position starting after the Easter break, offering a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive and collaborative Humanities department.

This role is suited to a qualified teacher with experience delivering the UK curriculum across subjects such as History, Geography and/or Religious Education at Key Stages 3 and 4.

The Role:

  • Teach Humanities subjects across Key Stages 3 and 4 (e.g. History, Geography, RE)

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in line with the UK national curriculum

  • Prepare students for GCSE examinations where applicable

  • Monitor, assess and report on student progress

  • Contribute to curriculum planning and wider school activities

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Has experience teaching Humanities within a UK secondary school

  • Strong subject knowledge in at least one Humanities specialism

  • Demonstrates a passion for engaging students in Humanities subjects

  • Effective classroom management and organisational skills
