Salary: £168.80 - £261.78 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

About the Role

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Secondary Supply Teachers to support schools across North Yorkshire. This role is ideal for experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to gain valuable classroom experience while enjoying flexible working options.

You will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3-5 within your subject specialism, maintain a positive learning environment, and keep students motivated and on track. Working across a variety of settings, including academies and smaller rural schools, will help you broaden your experience and find the right fit for you.

Requirements

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification

  • Recent experience in UK secondary schools

  • Two professional references

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Flexibility and a passion for teaching
