Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Textiles Teacher to join a well-established secondary school on a full-time, long-term basis, teaching across KS3, KS4, and KS5. This role is available immediately and offers an excellent opportunity for a committed and creative teacher to make a lasting impact.

Role Overview:

  • Deliver high-quality Textiles lessons across Key Stages 3-5
  • Plan and assess in line with national curriculum and exam board requirements
  • Support student progress and attainment across all ability levels
  • Contribute to departmental planning and wider school life

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Textiles at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to teaching
  • A current enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
