We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed KS1 Primary Teacher to join a warm, inclusive, and multi-faith 3-form entry primary school in Barnet for the remaining of the academic year. There is potential for extension beyond the academic year for the right candidate.
About the Role:
- Year Group: KS1
- Contract: Full-time, long-term
- Hours: 08:30-15:30
- Start Date: April 2026
- Pay: MPS1-MPS6 (dependent on experience)
- Support: Full-time Teaching Assistant in class
- Curriculum: Must have sound knowledge and experience delivering the KS1 English National Curriculum
- Environment: Inclusive, multi-faith school with strong community values
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Key Stage 1
- A strong grasp of the English National Curriculum
- Excellent behaviour management and classroom organisation skills
- A warm, flexible and proactive approach to teaching
- A desire to work collaboratively with a parallel teacher and support staff
