Tradewind Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting Functional Skills Tutors (English and Maths specialists) for a brand-new Alternate Provision setting in Towcester.

Following the success of their North Northamptonshire site, this provision is expanding and looking for passionate educators to support students who thrive in a more personalised and supportive learning environment.

As a Functional Skills Tutor, you will deliver engaging and accessible English or Maths lessons, helping students to build confidence, develop essential life skills, and achieve meaningful qualifications. You will work with small groups of learners, adapting your teaching approach to meet a range of needs and abilities.

We are looking for individuals who:

• Have experience teaching or tutoring English or Maths (Functional Skills experience desirable)
• Can engage and motivate learners who may have faced challenges in mainstream education
• Are patient, adaptable, and resilient
• Have a genuine passion for supporting young people to succeed
• Are comfortable working within an alternative provision setting
