At Tradewind Recruitment, we are currently recruiting experienced and passionate SEN Teaching Assistants to work on a supply basis across a variety of schools in Doncaster.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are committed to supporting children with additional needs and are looking for flexible work that fits around their schedule.
About the Role
As a Supply SEN Teaching Assistant working through Tradewind Recruitment, you will:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
- Support students with their academic, social, and emotional development
- Promote positive behaviour and help manage challenging situations
- Adapt quickly to different school environments
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience supporting children with SEN (in schools or similar settings)
- Strong behaviour management skills
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
- Flexibility and reliability
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
