SEN Teacher - Full Time
Location: Enfield
Start Date: Immediate - For the Academic Year
Paid to scale with SEN allowance
A well-regarded Special Needs School in Enfield is seeking a committed and enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis for the remainder of the academic year. The school caters for pupils aged 3-19 years with severe or profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), many of whom also have complex medical needs.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dedicated school community that places children and young people at the heart of everything they do.
We are looking for a teacher who has:
A positive and proactive attitude
A high level of emotional resilience
A genuine commitment to special education and improving the lives of children and young people with disabilities and learning difficulties
Strong organisational skills, with experience in planning, assessing, and monitoring progress
Relevant teaching experience within SEN or a mainstream setting with transferable skills
The ability to reflect on and adapt teaching approaches to meet the individual needs of students
A reflective approach to professional development and a willingness to grow within the role
