A welcoming and well-established two-form entry primary school in Harlow is looking to appoint a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join their Early Years team from the Summer Term 2026. This is a full-time role and a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Early Years professional to work within a supportive and well-organised EYFS setting.

The Role
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play an important role in supporting the development and learning of children in the Early Years setting.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting children's learning through play-based activities
- Assisting the class teacher with the planning and delivery of engaging EYFS provision
- Supporting language development, early literacy, and numeracy
- Observing children's progress and contributing to assessments and learning journals
- Helping to maintain a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment
- Encouraging children's social, emotional, and behavioural development
- Working collaboratively with the EYFS team and communicating effectively with parents where required
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must hold a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification recognised in England.
Accepted qualifications include:
- Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Education and Care (Early Years Educator)
- Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator)
- NVQ Level 3 in Children's Care, Learning and Development
- BTEC National Diploma in Children's Care, Learning and Development
- CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education
- CACHE Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce
- T Level in Education and Early Years
- Level 3 Diploma in Montessori Pedagogy (Birth to Seven)
You should also have:
- Experience working in an Early Years setting such as a nursery, preschool, or reception class
- A strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- A nurturing and patient approach when working with young children
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to supporting children's development and wellbeing
