Pay: £95 - £100 per day

Contract: Part-time, Immediate Start

The Opportunity

Are you passionate about empowering young adults to reach their full potential? Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated 1-1 SEN Teaching Assistant for a unique and rewarding role within a mainstream Further Education (FE) setting in Aldridge.

In this role, you will provide vital support for students aged 16-24, helping them navigate the transition into adulthood and higher education. This isn't just about classroom assistance; it's about building confidence, fostering independence, and making a tangible impact on a student's future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Targeted Support: Provide bespoke 1-1 assistance to students with SEND, ensuring they can access the curriculum effectively.
  • Collaborative Strategy: Work hand-in-hand with lecturers and SENCOs to implement and adapt tailored learning plans (EHCPs).
  • Inclusive Environment: Cultivate a vibrant, safe, and inclusive atmosphere where students feel empowered to participate.
  • Holistic Development: Support both academic progress and the development of essential life and social skills.

Who We Are Looking For

We need a compassionate professional who understands that every learner's journey is different.

  • Experienced: You have a proven track record of supporting learners with SEND (experience in an FE or secondary setting is highly preferred).
  • Qualified: You hold relevant educational qualifications or credentials.
  • Communicative: You possess the ability to build strong rapport with students, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • Driven: You are genuinely motivated by the growth and success of diverse learners.
