SEN Teaching Assistant - Full Time, Grays
Start Date: ASAP
Full-Time Position

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a supportive and inclusive Primary school in Grays for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with Special Educational Needs, helping them to access learning and reach their full potential in a nurturing school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities

  • Support pupils with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties

  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being

  • Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN (school-based or similar setting)

  • A patient, caring, and proactive approach

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff

  • Relevant qualifications or training (desirable but not essential)
