Learning Support Assistant

Peterborough £95-£110 per day | Weekly Pay | Term Time Only | Full time Monday to Friday

Are you a dedicated learning Support assistant with a passion for supporting students with special educational needs and challenging behaviour?

A well-established primary school in Peterborough is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join their dedicated support team as soon as possible. With a diverse and dynamic pupil community, this school offers a fantastic environment to develop your skills and make a real impact.

In this role, you will support pupils across the school, working both within the classroom and in small group or 1:1 setting. You'll help ensure that all learners are supported to reach their full potential, both academically and socially.

About the role learning Support assistant role

  • 1:1 Support and small groups intervention
  • Assisting class teacher with daily running of the class and adapting lesson to cater to the student's needs.
  • Working collaboratively with teaching Staf and SENCo
  • Creating a safe and inclusive environment

Recruitment for the learning Support Assistant role

  • Previously experienced working as a learning support assistant across KS1 AND KS2
  • Experience working on a 1:1 and small group interventions.
  • Passione for the education sector and support students with SEND needs.
  • Available to work Monday to Friday 8:30-3:30
