What the Role Involves:

  • Delivering pre-set lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 in the absence of the class teacher
  • Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
  • Supporting students with their learning and encouraging engagement
  • Working collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure continuity and progress
  • Gaining experience across a variety of subjects and year groups

We're Looking For People Who:

  • Have experience working with young people (e.g. coaching, mentoring, tutoring, or support roles)
  • Are confident leading a classroom and managing behaviour effectively
  • Are adaptable, proactive, and organised in their approach
  • Have strong communication skills and a professional attitude
  • Are interested in pursuing a career in teaching or education
