Graduate Teaching Assistant - KS3 Transition Support - Hammersmith & Fulham
Start Date: September
Contract: Full-time, Term-time only
Pay: £95-£105 per day (depending on experience)

A welcoming secondary school in Hammersmith & Fulham is looking to appoint a Graduate Teaching Assistant to support pupils transitioning from primary into Key Stage 3. This role is particularly well suited to graduates interested in pastoral support and inclusive education.

You'll play a key role in helping younger secondary pupils settle into routines, build confidence and access the curriculum effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide in‑class and pastoral support to KS3 students
* Support small groups focusing on confidence, organisation and literacy
* Assist teachers with classroom routines and transitions
* Help students adapt to secondary expectations and learning styles
* Build positive relationships that support student wellbeing

The Ideal Candidate:
* A graduate in any subject discipline
* Interested in child development, SEND or pastoral roles
* Calm, empathetic and confident working with younger adolescents
* Experience with children or young people is desirable but not essential

This role offers meaningful experience for those considering teaching or wider educational support roles.
