Learning Support Assistant - SEN Settings
Flexible / Supply Work Across the South West

We're looking for a number of Learning Support Assistants to work on a flexible, supply basis across a range of specialist settings. These roles suit someone who's practical, level-headed, and able to build rapport quickly - especially with young people who respond best to consistency, clear boundaries, and a grounded approach. Longer term roles do also become available should this be something you are keen to explore once you have found the setting for you!

The Role - Learning Support Assistant

You'll be:

  • Supporting students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs
  • Guiding young people through both structured learning and practical, hands-on activities
  • Providing a strong, steady presence in lessons, around the school, and during outdoor tasks
  • Working within a supportive team that values resilience, teamwork, and reliability

Settings Include:

  • SEMH schools
    SEN schools
  • Alternative Learning Provisions (ALPs)
  • Residential education settings
  • Pupil Referral Units (PRUs)
